Let's start with the easiest way to rock a bow.. In your hair of course. Here's some simple ways to add a bow to your hairstyle:
Side braid your hair and add a bow at the end,
French braid your bangs and add a bow,
Pull your hair up in a bun and add a bow on the back side,
and pull your hair up into a bun with a french braid on the back and add the bow to the underside to complete the look.
Here's some pics on these hair dos and more!
If you're that daring rock a hair hair-bow like Lady Gaga.
Bows are becoming really in right now, especially on clothes. I love the look of a bow on the skirt, both flowy and fitted skirts.
Omg, I love love the Bow Bandeaus, and I know I'm not the only one, because i see you all repining these pictures. These are just coming into trend, just in time for the summer. Super cute, you can wear these tops with skirts, high waisted jeans, and high waisted shorts. Gives you an easy Retro look. And for all of you DIY girls, i found an amazing girl on youtube who can show you how to make one yourself!
If the link doesn't work go to YouTube and search: Bandeau Tutorial & Giveaway and that should take you to it.
Now onto shoes. Ahh.. i love shoes. This is another trend you can do yourself. If you have some plain heels, flats, or sandals you want to spruce up, find some ribbon or fabric that will compliment the shoe, make a bow, and stick it on there. It's like having a brand new shoe!
Now onto our last Bowtastic trend. Bows on blouses, and dresses. I wasn't so sure about this at first because when i first heard about it i thought, " How juvenile" but no, I'm convinced now that it is not, and is in fact super fab! The relaxed bow coming from the collar on a blouse, brings it from manly to a more womanly stance. Kourtney Kardashian rocks this look quite frequently and always does it well.
With dresses, a bow in the back at the shoulder line is always flattering, and also a cute little bow in the back at the waist line works too.
I hope that I see some Bows around NWA! Just remember to keep it simple and don't over do it. I hope everyone has a wonderful week and remember your feedback is welcomed.
Here's a few more bow ideas I just had to show ya!
XOXO-Kacie
