Layered Perfection

This year has gone by really fast! I am so excited it is November, this is my favorite time of the year, but only because of the good food and the family time, the cold weather I could do without. You know how the weather starts out super cold in the mornings and then warms up, so then you don't know what to wear because you don't want to freeze but then you don't want to sweat later? Well that's exactly why we are going to be talking about Layering today.

There are so many pieces of clothing you can use when you layer; sweaters, dresses, skirts, shorts, button-ups, t-shirts, long sleeves, vests, jackets, and even maxi dresses!

Your outfit can be simple or complicated, have lots of layers, or only a few, and can be whatever style you please.

Since it is not that cold outside you can just do some simple layering for now, such as a sweater over a button up, a sweater over a maxi dress, a sweater over a top with leggings, or a sweater over a top with a skirt and some tights.

These outfits allow you to still wear some of your summer dresses and skirts, but still be warm.

layers layers layers

When it gets even colder outside you can add more layers. You can wear your long sleeve shirts with a button-up, sweater, and then a scarf. Add a vest, another button up, a cardigan, or a jacket for even more warmth.

Loving this look: Using two button-ups!

The possibilities are literally endless. You have so many options, and the best part is you don't have to go out and buy more clothes. You can use what you already have.

REMEMBER: Don't be afraid to layer, you can mix and match and create lots of different looks. You can incorporate your summer and fall trends together to create fabulous layered outfits.

I hope you all have a wonderful week, but before you go check out A.R Stylez new music video Inner Spirits.

Men Must Read, Ladies Inform your man

Most men hate shopping, as a woman I don't get that so us ladies are confused about men's outfits...
Men, we're not saying that you don't look attractive in your t-shirts and your athletic shorts or pants.. we're just saying that when we see you out with all your friends or when you take us on a date.. we want you to try to look a little nicer. You don't have to go out and shop for hours like ladies do, you can pick out a few key items that will really impress that ladies. And you're really not putting in that much effort!

I know some of you guys are worried about looking too fashionable and coming off as feminine, but don't worry, we love a man who can dress well.

Plain V-Necks or tees are always nice looking with dark jeans. Collared shirts also look nice too. You can add a belt, if you want to, and some casual shoes and you have a simple, good outfit. Plus, it shows off your muscles! When i say plain, i just mean something that isn't too overly patterned or lots of graphics.

nice. flat head. selvedge herringbone!Since it is starting to get a little bit cooler out at night, long sleeve button-ups are definitely the way to go. Now you don't have to get all fancy with it. A button-up and some dark jeans, and nice kicks will do the trick. You can wear the shirt tucked in for a more sophisticated look or untucked for more of a relaxed look. As for shoes, sperry's or similar looking shoes are a great choice. They are nice looking yet casual enough to wear with your jeans. I know you are all wondering why dark jeans, well it's because they look more flattering on the body. You can have a couple pairs or dark jeans, several colors of plain v-necks or tees, and different styles of button ups and you are set! When it starts getting colder outside you can also use these clothes as basics and just add a jacket or sweater on top!

Lots of Leather, Fall is Near

Fall is Almost here! So it's time to stock up on some leather essentials!

Leather is just fantastic! You can wear it so many ways and it can edge up your outfit. You can pair leather with something girly, simple, or even chic. Leather is definitely a must-have for any fall season.

Leather Leggings

You can pair leather leggings with just about anything. Oversized sweaters, button-ups, cute tees, plain tees, V-necks, take your pick. It's an easy way to make an outfit, and an edgy one at that.
cannottt wait for winter/fall clothes
Love this sweater!!

If you are scared to try the leather trend in full swing, leggings with leather panels are a great way to start, or my new obsession; sweaters with leather elbow patches.

leather panels.

Leather jackets are always a must during the fall season. Great way to beat the brisk cool weather and still look cute! There's so many styles, studded jackets, cropped jackets, biker jackets, and even vests! Not to mention, there's always fun new colors every year. The traditional colors; black, charcoal gray, and brown are the easiest to pair with outfits, but I hope to be seeing some of you rocking some red leather jackets at the Razorback games this season!

You can put one of these leather vests over a trendy top to create an edgy look!

Leather Shorts & Skirts

You can wear the leather trend right now while it's still warm outside. You can pair shorts or skirts with cute tops. When it starts to get cooler out you can even put some tights under them so you can continue to wear this trend.

Finally.. My favorite type of leather.. BOOTS! I love them. Tall boots that come up all the way to your mid-thigh, knee-high boots, and ankle boots. They all look super cute with so many different outfits, and you can wear them dressed up or down. Theres so many colors too; Charcoal gray, tan, dark brown, and black.

Fashion should be a form of escapism, and not a form of imprisonment. -Alexander McQueen

Remember, fashion is fun and a way to express yourself, i encourage you all to wear the trends, but dont feel like you have to conform, wear the trend in a new way and become a trendsetter!

I hope you all have a wonderful week! Beat BAMA!!

Back To School

Hello Everyone! I'm sorry that i haven't been posting all summer, but this semester I will be keeping you all updated on the latest trends! I have started making some clothes and furniture/decor, that will be available for purchase soon! School is starting, so i want to send you all back to school looking fabulous! And don't forget to check out my Pinterest!

Here's some of the basic clothing items to start the year with:

JEANS:
I am a jean fanatic, i could say i have too many pairs of jeans, but i will never stop buying them. Every girl needs a pair of skinny jeans and a regular pair of bootcut jeans. My favorite are the dark colored skinny jeans. You can dress these up or down, wear them with heels, boots, or sandals easily. When it comes to colored jeans i say it's a yes! Personally, i have mint and red. Red for the razorback games, which can be paired with cute white, black, gray, and cream tops. Mint, a really fab color, that can transition from all seasons that you can pair with white, cream, gray, tan, black, peach, and many more colors. Did i mention that these jeans also look great with the trendy tall leather boots?

TEES&V-NECKS:
Wake up late? Throw on a tee or a v-neck shirt with you skinny or bootcut jeans, maybe a scarf, cute shoes, and theres a cute outfit. Simple and easy.

CARDIGANS:
For when it's chilly in your class and you don't want to ruin your outfit, bring a light cardigan. Keep the colors neutral so that you can wear your cardigans with several different outfits. 3/4 sleeve, and a long sleeve are great to start out with.

T-SHIRTS:
I know some of you girly-girls are like "whaaaat" but you can find cute girly t-shirts now a days and for when you just don't have the energy, or enough coffee to stare at your closet and go through outfits, having a few t-shirts will come in hand!(these are at Impressions Boutique & Gifts)

LEGGINGS:
I am a huge fan of being comfy no matter what, so leggings with a cute t-shirt or a v-neck is always a do. I keep it simple and have several black and charcoal gray pairs, however, i have been seeing some really cute patterned ones that would go great with a lot things too.

Other Must-Haves:

MAXI SKIRTS:
You can wear them with your basic tees or v-necks.
Yellow Maxi Skirt
and of course..

RAZORBACK RED:
Red dresses are always cute, you can pair them with some cute sandals or boots. Button-up shirts are really in
right now, get one in red and glam it up! A cute top with red jeans, or a red skirt is an easy outfit to rock.
A red blazer not only goes with a lot of things outside of Razorback games, but it gives you a
chic and sophisticated look. Here's some ideas for your game day apparel. WOO PIG SOOIE.
