Swimtastic Summer

Hello everyone! I hope all is well, especially since Summer is here! Since i know some of you will be spending some time in the water, or at least in the sun, I thought it would be perfect to start the Summer off by letting you know which swim suits, cover-ups, and more are trending.
Because I want all of you to look amazing in your swim suits, I thought I'd start off by helping you choose which swim suits to wear with your body type.
Big Bust: Halter tops are good for coverage or a top with underwire because it will give you more support.
Small Bust: You can pretty much wear anything. However, triangle tops and bandeau tops look great on you.
Short legs: Get bottoms that cut high on the thigh, this lengthens your legs.
Long legs:Any bottom cut will look great on,
Curvy: A sexy one piece or tankini to minimize your tummy.
Of course theses are just recommendations, but if you look hot in your bikini, whatever it may be then that's awesome! Now that we've got that settled. Let's look at what's trending this summer.
Crochet Swimwear

Love love crochet look. Gives you a vintage look.

Cutouts

Creates a sex appeal that normal swim wear doesn't. Great way to secretly hide flaws!
Fringe
I love fringe. Anyone can wear this trend, because it goes on all types of swim suits.

Ruffles

Ruffles give you a more girly flare. With small busted women, a ruffled triangle top can create more fullness. For women who are more curvy on the bottom, a ruffled top distracts from the bottom half!

Vintage Inspired
Vintage/Retro is definitely coming back into style ladies. Give you more coverage, but still looks very cute and womanly.

Bandeaus

There's so many Bandeaus out there that you can try!! I love the bright colors, embellished, and the scrunched look below.

 Triangle Top
It's so easy to mix and match these suits. An animal print top and a bright bottom would look amazing, or you can mix bright colors too.

Push-Up

 For that extra support!

Cover-Ups
Don't forget cover-ups, crochet cover-ups are always cute, and also give you some sexiness, summer dresses, tunics, rompers, and maxi dresses. They are easy ways to cover up your bikini and still look fab!

Sarongs are great for those who still wanna show off a little, but want to cover up their bum. Kim Kardashian covers up her famous tush with a sarong sometimes when she hits the beach!

Colors & Fabric
Citrus, orange, coral, fuscia, aqua, patterns, floral, color-blocking, and of course black and white are the top colors/fabrics trending this season.

Hope you all kick your summers off right, lookin' good in your swim wear!

BOWS BOWS BOWS

Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a good Monday and not feeling like the picture above. If you are I hope I can help fix that! Well the title today is self-explanatory, Ladies BOWS are not just for little girls anymore. There are so many ways to wear bows and I'm here to tell you all how! So, let's get started.
Let's start with the easiest way to rock a bow.. In your hair of course. Here's some simple ways to add a bow to your hairstyle:
Side braid your hair and add a bow at the end,
French braid your bangs and add a bow,
Pull your hair up in a bun and add a bow on the back side,
and pull your hair up into a bun with a french braid on the back and add the bow to the underside to complete the look.
Here's some pics on these hair dos and more!

If you're that daring rock a hair hair-bow like Lady Gaga.

Bows are becoming really in right now, especially on clothes. I love the look of a bow on the skirt, both flowy and fitted skirts.

Omg, I love love the Bow Bandeaus, and I know I'm not the only one, because i see you all repining these pictures. These are just coming into trend, just in time for the summer. Super cute, you can wear these tops with skirts, high waisted jeans, and high waisted shorts. Gives you an easy Retro look. And for all of you DIY girls, i found an amazing girl on youtube who can show you how to make one yourself!
If the link doesn't work go to YouTube and search: Bandeau Tutorial & Giveaway and that should take you to it.

Now onto shoes. Ahh.. i love shoes. This is another trend you can do yourself. If you have some plain heels, flats, or sandals you want to spruce up, find some ribbon or fabric that will compliment the shoe, make a bow, and stick it on there. It's like having a brand new shoe!

Now onto our last Bowtastic trend. Bows on blouses, and dresses. I wasn't so sure about this at first because when i first heard about it i thought, " How juvenile" but no, I'm convinced now that it is not, and is in fact super fab! The relaxed bow coming from the collar on a blouse, brings it from manly to a more womanly stance. Kourtney Kardashian rocks this look quite frequently and always does it well.

With dresses, a bow in the back at the shoulder line is always flattering, and also a cute little bow in the back at the waist line works too.

I hope that I see some Bows around NWA! Just remember to keep it simple and don't over do it. I hope everyone has a wonderful week and remember your feedback is welcomed.
Here's a few more bow ideas I just had to show ya!
